Two of General Motors' finest convertibles from half a century ago were the top sellers at the RM auction last weekend in suburban Detroit. A 1958 Pontiac Parisienne droptop sold for $104,500, and a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz went for $82,500 at the annual classic-car event, April 24-25 in Novi, Mich. Just days after the reveal of the new A6 Allroad, Audi has announced that the 2012 A6 Allroad will start at £43,145. In the midst of the reveals at the Detroit Auto Show last week, Audi revealed the 2012 A6 Allroad in Germany, and a decent-looking Allroad it is too. Unlike previous iterations of the A6 Allroad, the 2012 A6 Allroad looks almost as sleek and appealing as the regular A6 Avant, despite its butch plastic cladding and skid plates.
